How does EDIWareTM work?

EDIWare™ uses templates, or stored instructions related to the structure of a data file, to create a map between the originating and destination file formats. It translates data so that the receiving system can use it. However, that is not all EDIWareTM can accomplish.

It is capable of doing all these tasks:

Technical Information

EDIWareTM is B2B integration software. With EDIWareTM you can directly connect to ODBC compliant databases and extract and insert data using SQL. Query results can be mapped and translated into outgoing XML, EDIFACT, X12, etc. messages. Incoming EDI messages can be directly mapped and inserted into the database. The product supports X12, EDIFACT, TRADACOMS, XML or other standard or non-standard, proprietary data file formats and translate results into the desired format. A straightforward and efficient user interface allows easy access to formats, translation filters, and translation tables for creation or modification.

EDIWareTM is a Windows-based EDI translator. Data formats and filters can be quickly and easily defined. The product is very efficient and does not require any special database integration. EDIWareTM supports connection to any ODBC compliant database like Oracle, M/SQL, Sybase, Access, etc… Additionally, data can be extracted or inserted utilizing SQL statements. Batch file definition creation enables scheduled processing. Mapping and Translation from/to ASCII files.

Powerful process automation tool allowing integration of FTP, POP3 and SMTP protocols within the EDI process. As an example, your EDI process can be setup to automatically process files received as e-mail attachments or to automatically connect to a designated FTP site.
